Do you want to get “SCHOOLED BY SCOTTY”?
Scotty,
I went to your first school in Immokalee in 2010 and I learned a lot to help me be a better racer by using
split times and holding a couple of numbers. However it didn’t really gel until I attended your school again
this year at Immokalee. It really worked this year as I went on to win Day 1 of the IHRA Pro-Am in Top
Dragster. I wasn’t able to repeat that feat on Sunday but you pulled it off. So I would say you
participated in both wins. Thank You!

Scotty Richardson held his first drag racing school in the Virginia area on March 24th and 25th at Richmond Dragway. Richardson holds 6 World titles and multiple series and track championships. He has earned numerous wins in big dollar bracket racing as well. Richardson decided to offer these affordable 2 days schools all across the US to improve the abilities of the everyday racer. I guess you could call them “Grass Root Racers” . Which brings to mind the new series that Richardson is putting together with help of many National Vendors such as JEGS, Hoosier, TCI to name a few.
Listen to what some of the racers that attended had to say about the School:
Dear Mr. Richardson,
My name is Cory Maloney. I wasn't able to attend the class that you previously had at MIR due to my school schedule. Although I couldn't attend, my father did. When he got back from your class all he could do is talk and talk about what he learned and all the knowledge that he obtained from your class. To be honest, I didn't believe your methods would work but we were going to give them a try no matter what. This last Saturday we attended the Raider ET Challenge Points Series at MIR. Many people were there from all over the tri-state area. When first round started I gave it my all and your method worked. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!! I won round after round and each time I got more and more confident about your methods. After a long 7 round race, I brought home the win and I was amazed. This year has been an ok year, I've had my many wins and many losses this year, but thanks to you, racing seems so easy now. If my dad didn't take your class I wouldn't know nearly as much as I do now thanks to you.
With many thanks,
Cory Maloney
P.S. Looking forward to your Junior Dragster class, THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you really want to take this school?
All it did for my daughter & I was 5-final rounds, in the next 5 races we entered, after taking Scott's school. $2,500 in winnings (so far) for a $300 investment, & the fun of going rounds priceless. I can't wait to try this stuff out against the traveling pros. Not saying we're ready to win the Million yet. But, now I understand how & why the traveling pros do what they do.
Why would you not want to take Scott's school?
The Smiths...

Scotty,
“Where do I start, I had never meet Scotty before the school in Richmond. I had heard his name a few times from racers before, but what stood out the most for me was his wins at the WFC in Bristol. When I seen he won the 2nd one I told my wife "This guy Scotty won it again" At that point I knew he had too know what he was doing so when I seen he was doing these school's I had to get signed up.
Now for the school it's self
For me the best part was the on track work we did, this gave us the chance to try different things we had learned in the class and be able to do it again if we messed up, had we had the shoot out we would not have been able to do this. I learned a lot from his school with the on track part really putting it all together for me..At this point i feel it is the best money I have spent on racing...This will be my 5th year in dragracing..
Hats off to Scotty and Richmond dragway”

"Scotty's school was well worth every penny. No question went unanswered and no topic went uncovered. Instead of the gambler's race, we chose to do a practice format which not only helped apply what we learned to the track, but also allowed Scotty to see us make more than just a couple of runs and really pick apart what he thought we were doing right and wrong. If anybody is questioning whether to spend this money, I would highly suggest it because it was really worth the money."
